TERMS OF USE FOR SCHOOLS

Here you can read the terms and conditions for schools that are included in the subscription scheme at skolelyst.no.

The terms of use for participating schools in the school milk scheme on www.skolelyst.no

1. In General

TINE offers school milk and other products to students of the Norwegian primary schools through a subscription scheme. TINE would like to contribute to school students receiving a varied and healthy diet through good quality products.
The subscription scheme is handled through the website www.skolelyst.no. For that subscription scheme to work, it is necessary that TINE and the individual school work closely together.
Below are the terms and conditions for participating schools in TINE’s school milk scheme TINE Skolelyst.

2. Appointment of a School Milk Supervisor

The school will:
⦁ Appoint a School Milk Supervisor, which is responsible for registering an account and administering the school on ⦁ www.skolelyst.no, as well as making sure that the commitments below are met.
⦁ Ensure that the password is kept strictly confidential www.skolelyst.no.

3. Approve the calendar for the school year

TINE will:
⦁ In advance fill out a calendar for the school year based on the publicly available information.
The school will:
⦁ Enter the correct details, edit, and validate the calendar for the entire school year before the students' guardians are able to make orders.
⦁ Record the start and end date for the school year and when the students have vacation.
⦁ Record any days off (camp school, tour days, etc.) for the different classes in a separate class calendar.

4. Choose the range of products on offer at the school

The school will:
⦁ Select a minimum of three products that TINE offers on ⦁ www.skolelyst.no, of which two of the products will be Light milk 1.2% fat ¼ litre and Light milk 0.7% fat ¼ litre.

5. Cancellation of orders due to strike

If there is a strike which means that the school cannot receive the ordered products, the school will:
⦁ As soon as possible contact TINE Skolelyst and cancel the delivery.
The school will contact TINE as soon as it is able to receive deliveries again.

6. Delivery and storage of the products

TINE will:
⦁ Deliver ordered products on those days that are agreed with the school.
⦁ Place the products into the refrigerator unless it is agreed that the school should do this.
The school will:
⦁ Ensure that the entry and stopping space is large enough so that TINE’s distribution vehicles can legally and safely park.
⦁ Ensure that it is not more than 40 metres from TINE’s stopping space for its distribution vehicles to the entrance of the school.
⦁ Make sure that TINEs drivers do not face physical obstacles when delivering the products, such as locked barriers, locked doors, stairs, etc.
⦁ Place the products into the refrigerator if this is agreed with TINE’s drivers.
⦁ Ensure that the delivery conditions are according to the HSE requirements given in the Working Environment Act and its regulations.
⦁ Immediately contact TINE Skolelyst if there is a delay or deficient delivery, and agree on a new delivery for a run as quickly as possible.
⦁ Keep the products in a fridge which maintains a temperature with a range of 0-4 degrees.

7. Maintenance of the refrigerator

The school will:
⦁ Make sure the fridge is always clean and tidy.
⦁ Take out the electrical plug to the refrigerator before the longer holidays.
⦁ Start up the refrigerator in good time before the start of school, so that any problems can be corrected before the start of school.
If the school is experiencing problems with the refrigerator, the school will as quickly as possible report the problem, by contacting TINE Skolelyst at 513 71 510 or sending an e-mail to kjolemobler@tine.no.

8. Delivery of the products

The school is responsible for the delivery of the products (in a cold state)  to the students. Delivery of the products will be carried out in the following way, depending on which concept the school has:
A. Schools without a student program
The School Milk Supervisor will:
⦁ Print the updated subscription lists and deliver these to the class teacher, as well as hang the lists up, on the school milk closet.
⦁ Hand out cold products according to the updated subscription overview.
⦁ Ensure that the products are distributed and used the day after the day of delivery, regardless if the delivery takes place before or after lunch unless otherwise communicated in writing by TINE.

B. Schools with a student program
The School Milk Supervisor will:
⦁ Organise the student program at the school.
⦁ Ensure that students receive the class list and a daily updated distribution list in a fixed place with the school milk administrator.
⦁ Make sure that the students pick up and distribute the right products, as well as cleaning up and keeping order in the refrigerator.

C. Schools with pre-packaged class set
The School Milk Administrator will:
⦁ Ensure that the classes pre-packaged sets will be retrieved from the fridge and handed out to the classes.
